The corrugator line produces corrugated cardboard sheets in different waves (heights), the widths available on the market usually start from a light of 1800 mm. up to over 2800 mm., the main components start from the reel and splicer holders, with a production that can reach over 400 meters. per minute, then the more modern wave groups (single facers) have a cartridge change system with a very heavy structure, avoiding high quality vibrations in all types of waves. Quick change of cylinders, then waves in about 10 minutes. The gluer spreads the glue with micro metric control with constant automatic control at all working speeds. The multi-section hotplates have a heat control to allow to obtain a constant carton quality at all speeds. Through the auxiliary cutter the order change is carried out without interruption of the cardboard strip with a cut similar to the rotary shear, the auxiliary cutter can work as a traditional cutter, or perform partial cuts. The trimmer is made up of 2 independent cutting and creasing pairs that allow order changes to be made, both GAP and NO-GAP without speed limits. The accurate and fast positioning of the tools is entrusted to independent robots that move on a rack whose use guarantees performance, precision and reliability. With the different knives you can work up to 8 boxes per axis, with the positioning motors controlled by Brushless motors. The transversal cutter of modern and robust construction can expel the waste generated by the order change. We then have the multi-section collector collects the sheets coming from the cutter with separation of the batteries and the orders. The most modern corrugators have a "Process Control Supervisor" process control system which automatically monitors and controls all the different settings and variables of the corrugated cardboard production process, reducing waste, ensuring that perfect gluing is achieved and a perfectly flat high quality carton!
